My Ready to Sell (RTS) status shows pending in Spark — what should I do?

What it means when Spark shows your RTS status as pending, how long updates take, and when it's worth reaching out.

Spark's Ready to Sell (RTS) status updates automatically once we receive your RTS confirmation from the carrier. If your status shows pending in Spark but the carrier portal shows you as Ready to Sell, no action is needed — Spark will reflect the update once the carrier reports it.

How RTS updates work

Each carrier sends Spark RTS confirmations on their own schedule, and reporting cadence varies by carrier. Once we receive your confirmation, your status updates in Spark within 24 hours.

Plan for 1–2 weeks after the carrier confirms you as Ready to Sell for your status to update in Spark.

Where to check your RTS status

Go to Back Office → View Carrier Contracts and review the status column.

Can I sell while Spark shows pending?

Yes. If the carrier portal shows you as Ready to Sell, you can write business through the carrier's portal — that's the most up-to-date source for your appointment status.

💡 The carrier portal is always the source of truth for your selling status. A pending status in Spark does not block you from writing business at the carrier.
