📝 The Agency Enrollment Scorecard is only visible in the Agency Principal view. This view may be granted to Spark agents or users by the Agency Principal.
Overview
The Agency Enrollment Scorecard gives you a single view of how your agency is performing across enrollments. It pulls together the metrics you would otherwise check across multiple tabs and organizes them by your agency's hierarchy: your agency, your sub-agencies, and your direct agents.
Use it to spot performance trends, identify underperforming sub-agencies or agents, and dig into the underlying reports for any metric that needs attention.
Where to find it
From your Agency view, select Performance from the left-hand menu to access the Agency Enrollment Scorecard.
The Scorecard provides an overview of your agency's enrollment volume, quality, growth, and active writing agents across your agency hierarchy. From key metrics, sub-agencies, and agent-level views, you can navigate to supporting reports for deeper analysis, including Enrollment Quality, Enrollment Volume, and Sunfire Applications.
The four metrics
The scorecard surfaces four key metrics for whichever agency, sub-agency, or agent you are viewing:
Total applications: total applications sent to carriers
Accretion rate: percent of applications that effectuated
Rapid Disenrollment Rate: percent of applications that effectuated but disenrolled within 90 days
Quality Enrollments YoY growth: percent (+/-) of quality enrollments relative to the same period prior year, where a quality enrollment is defined as an application that effectuated and did not terminate within 90 days
Each metric is color-coded so you can scan the view and immediately see where performance looks strong (green), needs attention (yellow), or is a concern (red).
Accretion Ranges: 85+ good, 75-84 needs attention, <75 concern
RDR Ranges: 0-5 good, 5-14 needs attention, 15+ concern
Selecting a date view
The following date views are available to filter the Scorecard results. These timeframe filters may also be applied to the supporting Enrollment Quality and Enrollment Volume reports.
Fiscal Year: Based on Spark's fiscal year, which starts February and ends January of the following year. The fiscal year is a year ahead of the calendar year since it references the enrollment year for the Annual Enrollment Period within the fiscal year. For example, fiscal year 2027 starts February 2026 and ends January 2027.
Annual Enrollment Period (AEP): Applications with an effective date on the 1st of the applicable year. For example, AEP 2026 will include all enrollments with an effective date on January 1, 2026.
Open Enrollment Period (OEP): Applications with an effective date between February 1st and April 1st of the applicable year. For example, OEP 2026 includes all enrollments with an effective date between February 1, 2026, and April 1, 2026.
Rest of Year (ROY): Applications with an effective date outside of AEP and OEP, specifically starting April 2nd until the end of the applicable calendar year. For example, ROY 2026 includes all enrollments with an effective date between April 2, 2026, and December 31, 2026.
Navigating your hierarchy
The view defaults to your agency at the top. Below the metrics, you can switch between two tabs:
Direct agencies: lists the sub-agencies that roll up to you, each with its own metrics.
Direct agents: lists the individual producing agents under your agency, each with their own metrics.
Selecting a sub-agency drills into that sub-agency's hierarchy and updates the view to show its sub-agencies and direct agents. You can keep drilling down until you reach a level that only has direct agents, at which point the Direct agencies tab will no longer display.
💡 If your agency has no sub-agencies, you will only see the Direct agents list.
Drilling into a metric
Every metric in the scorecard is clickable. Selecting one opens a focused report with the relevant filters already applied. If you are viewing a specific sub-agency or agent when you click, the report opens scoped to that sub-agency or agent.
Drill-down destinations:
Accretion rate and Rapid disenrollment rate link to the Enrollment Quality tab.
Quality enrollments YoY and Total applications link to the Enrollment Volume tab.
Sunfire applications will link to the Sunfire Applications tab. This drill-down is not available in the initial release and will be added in a follow-up update.
Enrollment Quality and Enrollment Volume tabs
Enrollment Quality tab
New selling period filter (OEP, AEP, ROY), in addition to fiscal year. See definitions above.
Agency view users can now filter by agent.
The previous volume graph and hero volume metrics have been removed.
New hero metrics: Accretion rate and Rapid disenrollment rate.
New plots: Accretion rate by month and RDR by month.
📣 IMPORTANT NOTE: The Enrollment Quality tab only includes data from certified carriers: Anthem, Cigna, Devoted, Humana, UnitedHealthcare, and Wellcare. Volume on this tab will not match your total volume across all carriers.
Enrollment Volume tab
This tab was previously called All Carrier Enrollments.
New selling period filter (OEP, AEP, ROY), in addition to fiscal year. See definitions above.
Agency view users can filter by agency.
New hero metrics: Quality enrollments, YoY growth, and Total application volume.
New plots: Total applications by month and Total quality enrollments by month.
Data on this tab encompasses all carriers Spark partners with, not just certified carriers.
Things to know
Only producing agents are shown. The scorecard counts an agent in the Direct agents list only if they have submitted at least one enrollment within the time range selected. This means the list may not include every agent organized under your agency. If you change your time range and an agent disappears, widen the range to include their activity.
Newer agencies may not see a YoY value. The Quality Enrollments YoY metric requires a prior year's enrollment count to calculate. If your agency does not have data for the comparison period, this metric will be blank.
Smaller agencies may see YoY volatility. Lower enrollment counts mean a small change in volume can produce a large percentage swing in year-over-year growth.
Hierarchy depth. The Agency view currently supports sub-agencies up to three tiers down from your agency. Sub-agencies beyond the third tier will not display in the scorecard.
Different tabs, different data scopes. The Enrollment Quality tab includes certified carriers only. The Enrollment Volume tab includes all carriers. If you see different volumes between the two, that is by design.
