Learning and comparing plan details every year can be time-consuming. Many agents and agency partners spend hours manually building their own cheatsheets or grids to keep track of plan offerings.

The Plan Cheat Sheets tool in Spark changes that.

Now, you can access an all-in-one plan cheatsheet that provides high-level benefit information quickly and accurately—saving time and making comparisons easier than ever. Powered by plan data from Sunfire, this tool is designed to streamline the way you prepare for the new plan year.

Key Layout Changes

We’ve made some updates in Spark to support this new feature:

A new Tools icon has been added to the sidebar.
The Providers tool has moved to the new Tools page.
Plan Cheatsheets can be accessed under the Tools section.

How to Use Plan Cheat Sheets

Product Limitations

Plan data is only available for plans listed in Sunfire’s database. Plans not included in Sunfire will not appear in the cheatsheet tool.
Star ratings are not in our initial release. They will be added once data is populated into Sunfire.

Access the Cheatsheet Tool

Navigate to the Tools section via the new icon in the sidebar. Click on View plan cheat sheets.

Enter Search Criteria

To load a cheatsheet, you'll be prompted to select:

State
County
Plan Type

Available Plan Types

All MAPD
MA-Only
PDP

Your selected plan type will determine the data displayed:

MAPD: Includes both medical and prescription benefits

MA-Only: Removes prescription data

PDP: Removes medical data

View and Understand the Data

High-level plan benefit information will populate in a grid. Use the Additional Info icons to view pop-ups with more detailed benefits.

The Documents section includes plan documents when available.

You can also Filter by product type and county as needed.

Export to Excel

Excel exports are ideal if you want to customize or add additional notes to your cheatsheets. Click the download icon to export your custom cheatsheet to Excel.
